Localization for coworking space

When Your English Brief Becomes a Taiwanese Brand Voice

When Your English Brief Becomes
a Taiwanese Brand Voice

A Singapore coworking brand came to me with great spaces, a clear vision for Taiwan, and copy that had room to grow. What they needed was not a translator. They needed someone who understood how Taiwanese professionals actually think.

Client details have been anonymized at their request. The work described covers SEO blog content, website copy, and localized marketing materials for the Taiwan market.

The Starting Point

The spaces were genuinely impressive.

Good design. Great locations. The kind of environment that makes you want to sit down and get to work.

The website copy was doing its job. It described the space, the options, the pricing.

But there was more to say.

People do not choose a workspace based on what it has. They choose it based on what it makes possible for them.

That is the story worth telling. And that is where I started.

What I Found

Before writing anything, I went looking for the people.

Taiwan has a lot of small business owners. A lot of people building something on their own. They are not just looking for a desk. They are looking for a place where things can happen.

Where the person sitting next to you might become your next client. Your next collaborator. Your next unexpected opportunity.

This is very real in Taiwan. But nobody had written about it clearly in Traditional Chinese yet.

That became the entry point.

What I Did

I started with SEO blog content.

Not generic coworking content. Content built around the real questions Taiwanese entrepreneurs and small business owners ask themselves.

Is this kind of space right for my business? What will I actually gain from being here? How do I explain this to my traditional boss who still expects a fixed office address?

That last topic became the most-read piece on the entire site.

Because it named something real. Something people were already thinking about. It just needed someone to put it into words.

After the blog content started producing results, the client came back.
This time for the full website. Every page. Every product description. Every call to action.

The same thinking, applied everywhere.

What Followed

One day I searched for them myself.

Not because anyone asked me to. I just wanted to see.

They showed up.

That moment is always a good one.
Because it means the words are working on their own now.

The client kept coming back. First for the blog. Then for the website. Then for more.
In this kind of work, that is the only result that actually matters.

What This Means for You

If you are a regional brand entering Taiwan, here is something worth knowing.

Taiwanese professionals are thoughtful buyers. They read between the lines. They respond to content that was clearly written with them in mind.

Your product might be excellent. Your brand might be strong.

The opportunity is in making sure your copy reflects that.
In making sure the right people can see themselves in what you are offering.

That is where localization makes the real difference.

Expanding into Taiwan or another Traditional Chinese market?
If your English brief is ready but your Taiwanese audience is not yet responding, that is where I come in.
